Thu, 28 May 2026 11:45:27 -0700WeeblySun, 05 May 2013 16:22:58 GMThttps://www.mobilemusiceducation.com/studio-news/mobile-music-education-recitalHere is your opportunity to get on stage and perform in front of a supportive audience.  The recital will be taking place in Wexford Hall in the Farmington Hills Costick Center (11 mile and Middlebelt) on June 5th from 6:30-7:30.  The recital is not required, but all students are encouraged to participate.  This will also be a great opportunity for  students to network with each other and inspire one another.  There is no extra charge involved with participating in the recital.   If you have certain conflicts with the time and would like to request a specific time slot, please let me know as soon as possible.  If you or your child will need time to set up please arrive at 6:00.  That includes guitarists who would like me to tune their guitars for them before their performance.  I'm so excited to finally have all my students in the same room!  See you all soon.

]]>Wed, 19 Sep 2012 19:59:17 GMThttps://www.mobilemusiceducation.com/studio-news/berklee-college-of-music-joins-courseraFor those of you unfamiliar with Coursera.com, it is a website that aims to provide free college education for anybody willing to put in the time and effort.  Today, Coursera announced 17 new colleges who are contributing free courses to the site.  At the top of the list sat Berklee College of music.  Berklee is considered the Juilliard of contemporary music.  They are offering: Intro to Guitar, Intro To Improvisation, Intro to Music Production, and Songwriting.  All for free!  This is a great resource for some of our more advanced students.
